Welcome to Gray-Corkerell VFW Post 3746!
For 75 years, Gray-Corkerell VFW Post 3746 has served veterans, their families, and the greater Rock Hill, SC community. VFW Post 3746 has been instrumental in preserving the history and heritage of African American veterans who bravely served our country.
Our Mission
Like other VFW posts, VFW Post 3746 raises funds to help veterans who served in wars overseas. One of our signature fundraisers is the annual poppy sale. More importantly, we raise awareness of the contributions of our veterans and make sure they receive the benefits to which they are entitled.

The Gray-Corkerell Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 3746 located in Rock Hill, SC. Seventeen veterans, who served in WWI as members of the United States military and were not allowed to join the white post, founded the post on September 8, 1938. The purpose of the post is to provide support for service men and women returning home from combat while serving with the United States military. Today the membership is composed of veterans who experienced combat in World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War and the Gulf Wars. A majority of our members are disabled and homeless, and require special needs. We are expanding our services to provide support for these veterans. Donations are being solicited for this purpose.
Thank you for your support
